Follow Up on Watershed Planning Meetings

June 20, 2007

In early June, the Vermont Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) held a first round of meetings to solicit public input in the development of a five-year Basin Plan for the Walloomsac River, Hoosic River and Batten Kill. The June meetings were attended by community members representing various organizations and interest groups.

In the interest of further developing the ideas shared at these preliminary meetings, we are sharing the open discussion notes from these meetings below.

Please take this opportunity, whether your attended the meetings or not, to read the meeting notes, provide comments, or expand on thoughts/ideas mentioned in the notes, and send your comments/notes back to Josh Gorman, DEC Watershed Coordinator, via .
